Salon – Lincoln Alpern – Marx in Soho

Sunday, February 21, 7 p.m. @ Millworks — Potluck and pass the hat admission

Lincoln Alpern hosts a one-night-only dramatic reading of “Marx in Soho”, from 7pm-8:15pm, with a discussion to follow. In this quirky fantasy, Karl Marx appears in the United States in modern times to discuss his life, his economic and political philosophy, and their relevance today. “Marx in Soho” was written by the late historian and activist Howard Zinn, author of “A People’s History of the United States”.
This performance is dedicated to his memory. The event will be streamed at Nonstop’s Live page.
