Ramesh Patel


Ramesh N. Patel, Emeritus Professor of Philosophy and Religion, Antioch College, taught Eastern and Western philosophy and religion, music, meditation, personal finance and writing well at Antioch College from 1976 until his retirement in 2002. Being a generalist he taught more than seventy different courses in philosophy and religious studies with “Gandhi: Spirituality of Nonviolence” being a highlight. He is the author of Philosophy of the Gita (Peter Lang, New York, 1990). For the last six years he has been teaching voluntary classes in the Bhagavad-gita, Upanishads, Hinduism and Vedic Philosophy in the Dayton area.
