John Fleming


John Fleming founded the YS Kids Playhouse, an interdisciplinary theater for youth, in 1995. As a director, choreographer, performer and teacher, his career spans over thirty years of artistic activity in the theater. Since 1995 he has been an instructor in theater and dance at Antioch College. Since 1996 he has been an artist with the Ohio Arts Council Arts-in-Education program and a member of The Muse Machine roster of teaching artists. He has a MA in Conflict Resolution from Antioch University. In 2002 he was the first artist to receive a fellowship from the International Peace Research Association. A native of New Orleans, he currently resides in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
